So, I started my post graduate job at Dell yesterday, which has been keeping me pretty busy. Any e-mails, messages, etc I receive I will have them posted that night. At first I was posting everything as I received them, but now I am working 8-5pm.
I love this site and what has been created and I really want to continue to see the website grow and expand. If anyone has any suggestions for what they would like to view on the site, just let me know. I would really love if The Jack Russell Buzz could be your main online source for all your Jack Russell needs. The purpose of this site is to serve you (JRT Lovers) so let me know the best way to go about it? Feel free to leave me a comment on the blog or just send me an e-mail.

Sly is doing very well by the way. He's been adjusting to me and Chris' new schedules for work. He gets so excited when he sees us after a long day. I find it amazing how good Sly makes us feel after a hard/long day! JRTs truly make everything better...

a-okSly was such a good puppy today. Since his daddy had to work most the day and I'm awaiting my start date at Dell, Sly and I just hung out all day. We played games all day, slept, and even went on two walks. Despite all that he's still running around wanting to play. He's such a character and I find it amazing how his own llittle personality has developed.
The only really issue Chris and I have with Sly is his housebreaking which is our own fault. When we first purchased Sly we lived in an apartment where we weren't even suppose to have animals so we didn't start him out properly. We basicly crate trained him. Now that we've moved I've been trying to get him to go outside and it's getting better slowly. When he first got here he would just go where he was maybe b/c he wasn't use to being here or possibly being defiant. Who Knows? But I'm proud to say that today was the first day in 5 days I didn't have to pull out the steam vac to clean up a mess. We just have to remember to follow the tips posted on this site and BE CONSISTENT! It's just so important.
Honestly, when Chris and I got Sly we knew nothing about Jack Russells and all the attention they demanded. We were shocked when he started speeding around the apartment due to lack of excerise and ripping up things b/c he was left alone when we had to work. Now that we've done our research we're able to understand who he is and why. I'm hoping this site helps owners of Jack Russell Terriers better understand them.
